The
story behind
"This
Ain't
It":
Ernie is a guy
who tries many
different
types of jobs
to make a
living.
Throughout his
life, he tries
fishing in the
Laguna Madre,
farming,
selling pigs,
and finally,
he becomes the
owner of an
old pawn shop.
At the
conclusion of
the song, you
have to ask
yourself;
"Is this
it?"
In the video,
Sam opens a
photo album
and begins to
tell his
daughter the
story of
Ernie.
His daughter
falls asleep
and she dreams
the story as
sung by Sam.
