The Movies

Ah yes, Hollywood, the movies, the major record companies, and all of this located in one city. It was finally time to work with the producer that originally discovered me to write the title song.

It had been over 10 years for the movie to finally get produced. It was going to be filmed in my home town of Corpus Christi, Texas. The movie, "Tilt" was going to have a new upcoming star, Brooke Shields.

Today, Sam and his old friend singer Johnny Rodriguez have participated in a new movie "Tin Can". Sam has also been asked to act in a future movie "La Martina".

The Movies

What better way to enjoy the movies than working with the stars. Here I am with Brooke Shields when she was in Corpus Christi filming the movie "Tilt". They used one of my songs, "Long Road To Texas".

Brooke is now starring in her own television show, "Suddenly Susan". That show was later cancelled.

Brooke was a nice young girl. I'm very proud to have had the chance to meet her and make friends with both Brooke and her mother.

Brooke and her mother came back to Corpus Christi for a vacation, and spent some time with me and my family.

Here are some pictures of Sam and country music legend Johnny Rodriguez on the set of the up coming movie, " Tin Can." The movie is in it's final stages of editing.

Sam and Johnny play cattle wranglers coming off of their last cattle drive. The production company," Rio Durado", have also asked Sam and Johnny to be in their next movie. "La Martina". Based on a true story in the 1800's. Sam is cast to play a sheriff. Although having had songs in movies, this is Sam's first time acting in them.
