As
you
walk
into
the
Texicalli
Grille
you
know
immediately
that
your
in
for
a
treat.
The
walls
are
literally
covered
with
posters
of
past
performances
of
rock
and
country
music.
There's
numerous
autographed
photographs
and
the
shelves
are
filled
with
antiques.
There's
so
much
covering
the
interior,
that
the
walls
and
ceilings
have
been
covered
from
top
to
bottom,
and
in
the
middle
of
all
of
this,
there's
Danny
Young.
The
Texicalli
Grille
is
also
known
as
a
hang
out
for
some
of
Austin's
best
known
musicians.
Danny
Young
and
the
Texicalli
Grille
has
definitely
earned
a
place
in
Austin
music
history. |

Here's
Danny
with
his
washboard
and
egg
beaters.
It's
all
part
of
the
show,
and
Danny
can
really
put
on
a
show.

playing
with
The
Cornel
Hurd
Band
at
the
South
By
Southwest
Multimedia
Conference
that
is
held
in
Austin,
Texas.
Their
style
of
music
is
a
Texas
swing,
sort
of
a
Bob
Wills
style
of
music.
The
South
By
Southwest
Multimedia
Conference
is
held
every
March
in
Austin.
The
conference
books
more
than
500
bands
during
its
week
long
duration.
This
is
where
you
can
also
run
into
numerous
entertainers
and
stars
in
the
music
and
film
industry.

Welcome
to
the
Texicalli
Grille
in
Austin,
Texas.
It's
a
pleasure
to
present
Danny
Young's
place
of
business.
The
following
pictures
will
give
you
a
short
tour
of
this
fine
eatery.
I
hope
you
enjoy
the
visit.
It
appears
that
just
above
the
neon
sign
that
says
"Danny's"
is
a
photograph
of
Roky
Ericson.
Roky
is
well
known
as
one
of
the
members
of
the
sixties
rock
group
The
13th
Floor
Elevators.
Roky
is
a
friend
of
Danny's,
and
I'm
sure
that
Roky
would
want
you
to
visit
the
Ericson
Home
Page. |

One
item
that
Danny
presented
me
was
the
"Live
The
Legend"
poster.
You'll
notice
the
poster
is
more
than
filled
with
a
whole
lot
of
signatures.
In
order
to
qualify
to
sign
the
poster,
you
must
have
at
one
time
lived
in
Kingsville,
Texas.
It's
hard
to
tell
how
many
people
have
signed
the
poster,
but
it
must
be
near,
or
over
1,000
signatures.
Looks
like
Danny
is
going
to
have
to
buy
another
Kingsville
poster
to
accomidate
the
future
signatures
to
me.
What
do
you
think?
Anyway,
if
you
have
ever
lived
in
Kingsville,
then
drop
by
the
Texicalli
Grille
so
you
can
"Live
The
Legend". |
