the
three
ships
are
now
on
land
near
the
Corpus
Christi
Museum

and
History.
The
third
ship
is
still
in
the
water,
and
it
can
be
seen
sailing
in
Corpus
Christi
Bay
at
least
once
a
week.
The
replicas
of
the
Columbus
Fleet
were
built
and
then
sailed
from
Spain
to
the
United
States
to
celebrate
the
discovery
of
the
Americas
a
few
years
ago.
The
Spanish
Government
asked
for
bids
from
different
U.S.
cities
to
home
port
the
fleet,
Corpus
Christi
won
the
bid.
